The word Wezandla also signifies the act of hands reaching out to help empower our talented crafters to showcase their work on an international platform. Artists who are hand picked from across the African continent - ensuring a diverse, intuitive and exciting range of products to cater for every taste.
Our retail store was established in 1994 by the late Glynis Baer. The store changed hands and was taken over by Angela and Kevin Boucher in 2016. In late 2017 the showroom - which had become a landmark in Port Elizabeth was moved to its new exciting home in the historical Parliament Street.

Wezandla is a Zulu Word which broadly translates to ‘with hands’. All the beautiful and unique traditional products within our collection are purely, and proudly handmade throughout Africa.
